Greetings STN - New Playhome! Woooo! So glad to see this release. It looks great but I wanted to throw out a few quick questions.
1. I was able to FINALLY get VR working this time around (not the Gedou thing, I still have no idea what that is or is supposed to be.....I just got regular VR working) ...however performance REALLY takes a hit in VR if I enable the bonemod, DHH, and HoneyPot. What's odd is if I back up and away from the character (in VR), the animation speed improves. But if I'm up close via POV, it slows down to a virtual slide show. Is this likely the result of a beefier modded Playhome simply now requiring a beefier desktop? I'm running a 1700x with a 580, which has been fine up until now...but maybe it's finally beginning to show its age. Short up updating any components, any tips to boost performance? I'd really like to take advantage of the new features and improvements this build offers.
2. What is "activate VR mod" as opposed to just selecting Start VR? If I select Activate VRMod, what does it do and how do I access the settings once in VR?
3. What is DHH?
4. What is HoneyPot?
5. I've found that if I start the game without activating the bonemod, I can still adjust the sliders all the way up or down without any issues. Does the bonemod setting impact performance?
6. Semen looks better but it's also flickering constantly now. Any idea why?

Well, long story short, DHH is the high heel mod, and is kinda poorly made in some aspects, so it spams the game with errors in several scenarios. Honeypot allows using select types of HoneySelect mods (clothing, accessories, hair and studio items) also uses a lot of resources... and GEDOU isn't really well made, so guessing that deals even worse with that than the main game and studio.
VRMod is VR for main game and studio, allowing you to use VR where it weren't intended, and that works way better than GEDOU
About flickering, some users are experiencing it due to the included PHIBL setting, lere's how to address that (this will be done in a upcoming hotfix):
- go to \Plugins\PHIBL_PresetLoad\presets
- Delete BetterRepack R3.preset
or
- Open the game
- Press right-ctrl + m
- Select the BetterRepack R3 preset
- Press Delete Preset
about bonemod... that changes the amount of bones, and this is recommended for some newer clothing mods (Marked with [BM] in the clothing list), so feel free to disregard if you use none of these clothes.
About HS2... as soon as possible. I've prepped for it, just waiting to see the files themselves... might be a day-1 release, might take a few days, it all depends. Do note though that R1 series of packs are early adapters pack, and I would be very much surprised if everything is troublefree on the R1 packs. When the pack reaches R2, it should be ready for common consumption.
Thank you for the reply. I appreciate it. Unfortunately this version is still a slide show on my end even if I don't enable anything (DHH, Honeypot, bonemod, etc). In fact it's still really slow even if I change it from quality to just normal or performance. I have two additional versions of PlayHome I've had running fine in VR (both FBZ editions) and they load right up with no slowdown at all. The only problem with those is the height sliders are all messed up and I'm not mod inclined (hence relying on repacks such as this). This version has the height sliders working PERFECTLY....but everything runs slow. Do you think things would speed up if I just installed the first half of this release without that additional "option" pack? Any idea why performance is taking such a hit in this release? If I could just get the performance issue fixed, this would be the best version hands down and I'd have no need for the others.

PS - Everything runs silky smooth via desktop. It's just VR (non Gedou) that has taken a performance hit in this release. Hoping a fix or future patch sorts it out! Still solid and excellent work!
UPDATE - Success! Deleting BetterRepack R3.preset not only fixed the flickering, but stabilized performance across the board as well. Just wanted to let you know before you did any potential troubleshooting. Awesome! Can't wait for HS2. Cards from AI are supposed to work in HS2, correct?

with seperate file like this i can just download the main game and not download the optional file

nincow: bonemod allows 'more detailed alteration' of shapes; press 'b' to show menu for it during character create - apologies if im stating the obvious
the jizz flickering is happening because of (forgive me, cant member right myah) - Tesselation settings (final tab PHIBL lighting thingy, F5) - adjust phong and length i think; and dependent also on level of 'zoom' on character etc. but im sure you;ll jizz your way through
youll notice jizz ... hahha, here we go - jizz performance alters depending on level of clothing and changes etc.
skintexmod is a...better jizz alternative if your after....jizz fidelity. blort.
and probably deleting the phbl preset (again, not sure on this) - considering it improved your performance, its probably reduced the quality
but hey, we're all in this for different reasons.....some fiddle....some seek.....fidelity.....HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

also, big cheers for these repacks, its made the 'keeping the mod collections of rars and shits and everythings' - just much nicer
and...is it just me....or...like...whats up with this ai shoujou / honey select 2 hoorays im seeing everywhere? hasn't it all been getting worse since pH? i mean, honey select was kinda like - wow, this is now getting places, pH went, Yep, and ever since its been like; oh, oh, a new one, oh ....wtf....
either my videocards aint working etc. etc. - but doesn't playhome and its mods still just look a billllion times better? perhaps im...losing my marbles...
