### Information about updaters
I've run into a little problem I were aware of, but never expected to actually encounter...
The installer framework I'm using, NSIS, does not support installers over 2GB in size... and the updates this time around is about 2.5GB...
I'm looking to replace both the installer framework and the patching method, but I'm not currently ready to make the switch, so I'm presented with the choice of just not releasing the update till I've gotten a new installer framework in place at least, or releasing without updaters, so I'm going to go with releasing without updaters this time.
I recommend you delete everything EXCEPT FOR THE UserData FOLDER (I repeat, do NOT delete your UserData folder!) and just merge in the new version if you're currently using a previous pack, replacing any conflicting files. Sorry for this, but a lot of stuff here this time it seems.

Every time I update I'm hoping to find new positions to choose from, and / or new environments. Those are the only two things I care about. Otherwise every version feels exactly the same to me. Will new locations ever be available, and is there a way to add new scenes and animation for the "H" scenes? I'm sure a lot of work goes into each release, but given what I'm looking for I'm unable to appreciate it because it seems to consists of tweaks and bug fixes and other behind the scenes aspects I never notice. I don't know if this matters or not, but I never play the actual game where you walk around the high school.
There are new free H and studio locations available in this release, the Beach and Live maps. Nothing new for the main game though in the form of visible changes.
Also, there's a lot of optimisations on the plugin side, making the game run smoother, as well as functional mods like material editor and lots of cosmetic stuff (clothing, studio items etc). And for those that're interested, Chinese and Korean translations have been added.
At this point, there's a lot of cards out there that won't load correctly at all with R8 and older, so I really recommend updating.
Do keep in mind that Illusion seems to have moved on from this game. Unless modders add new positions etc, this is it for that, but I wouldn't be very surprised to see modders take an interest in that as well, but no guarantees, most stuff going forward will probably be plugins for more customization, clothing/studio items and such.
Can you please integrate the unofficial VR mod into your next release? I can't get it to work on account of I'm a damn retard.

It's supposed to make the whole game VR-enabled instead of just h scenes and a concert. If it's anything like the Honey Select VR mod it probably also makes the VR functionality much more user-friendly.

@nalorcs - Nice to see another VR fan. I'm REALLY hoping the next version of Emotion Creators has VR support. STN was kind enough to direct me to a whole slew of fan made scenes.....but if I can't use EC in VR, I pretty much have no interest in checking most of them out.

That mod is based on IPA... I looked at it earlier and mostly disregarded it after noticing that... Thanks to my patreons and a month of minimum food budget, I've recently managed to get myself a Oculus Rift S (and were able to fix the translations for VR), so I can try to apply it and try to poke around with it, but I fear it's based on the same base that PlayHome VR mod were based on, and that one were NOT great... Adding to it that my pack isn't based on IPA, but rather BepInEx (as the vast majority of mods are built for BepInEx for KK), so IPA plugins are only running in something like a computability mode... I'll look at it though, but don't have very high hopes... ?

In this version cheat tools is missing (when I press F12 only show developer mode)so I must merge/replace this version with my old version to get it back?

I've applied several fixes to address this, as we've been discussing at Discord, continuing looking into it, but experiencing massive random results making choice translations work properly. For everyone else reading: If I manage to get that working rather quickly, I'll create a patcher for that as a R9.0.1 thing to distribute that, but currently all my testing has failed to make that work properly.

That plugin is there, but the new version has changed the keybind to the Pause key instead of the F12 key due to conflicts with the steam overlay (F12 takes screenshot on steam). You can change it back to F12 in the mod settings if you want to though (F1).
Is there anyway to make the game load faster? currently mid range system i think, i5 9400 and gtx 1060, 16gb ram. when trying to create new character it takes a while before it loads for me the same with entering a stage(from starting in the homeroom or entering a new open area).

MrKamote, your bottleneck might be your storage? An SSD reads nearly 5 times faster than a 7200rpm disk. It's almost a requirement with the sheer amount of data these textures use.

I didn't use the Illusion VR mod prior to midway into Honey Select's lifespan, but at that time it worked very well and had a good interface. It also made HS fully playable one-handed... and I'm a strong advocate for amputee accessibility in VR porn games. It's 2019, people. We need to be inclusive and thoughtful.
Hi! Thank you for your work, i really appreciate it. I swichted from a vainilla version to try your repack and i really liked. I only encounter some minor bugs so far (one really wierd happens if you spy on a girl,she wont reset her clothes, like if you spy a girl showering, after that she will be walking around naked). My question is looking for cards i found this one:https://illusioncards.booru.org/index.php?page=post&s=view&id=58966 and the creator wrote "All you should need is the HF Patch and the repack". So It is advisable to install the HF patch over the repack? Thanks and have a nice day!
Piggy backing off of what @nalorcs was talking about, is there any chance to add functionality to the VR mode included in the download?
Specifically, the folder explorer for choosing girls is super useful for organizing and exploring nested folders. However that's nowhere to be found in the VR version, so I have to manually copy cards to the root of the chara/female folder.
I have a question, is this a repack of the full game or a repack of the mods used?
I downloaded the betterrepack version 8 a moment ago (didnt realize there was a version 9, just found out about this repack today) but when i tried launching the game it keeps saying that there needs to be a Koikatu_Data folder next to the launcher.
Do I need the base game installed first?

Good afternoon STN. I just wanted to let you know that I was able to get VR working for Houkago Rinkan Chuudoku, so I'd like to withdraw my request for assistance with that when you had the time. However Insult Order still has no VR support beyond the 1.0 demo. I believe the final build is 1.3. If you're possibly able to assist in getting VR working for VR at any point down the line, that would be great. Looking forward to testing your future versions of HS and PH as well. Stay awesome!

First off, apologies for not being able to keep answering here for a little period.
There is an issue with a mod in this pack causing clothes to disappear. There has been issued a fix I hear, so I'm thinking about updating my pack, probably over the coming few days unless real life happens again.
