Since my hentai collection has grown to absolutely enormous sizes, I’ve had to taken to re-compressing my entire collection to free up hundreds of gigabytes of space

What I found is that with proper encoder settings, I could reduce the average hentai video by 80-90% in size and still retain near 100% quality. This is also due to the advanced properties of proper x264 settings which can drastically save space when large area’s of the screen are the same color, like anime is, and with correct settings can have x264 properly allocate bitrate for area’s of the screen like fine lines around character edges, yet save bitrates for wide area’s that are just the same color.

These encodes are done with a Haswell iGPU encode, 3 reference frames, where each of those three reference frames is examined 100 times over, for 300 video frame examination samples per frame total

As for the audio, I encoded it with high quality compression opus in speech mode, which saves close to 20% over music mode

I need feedback on this, cause if you don’t like the video quality etc I really don’t have a reason to upload the rest of my re-compressed files
