PROTIP: At least for "Book.7z", extraction will go a lot faster if you use a RAM disk (like 5 minutes with a direct-IO RAM disk on a dual-core Haswell). I used something like "Primo Ramdisk" with its RAM disk configured to 11GB, direct-IO disk, 512 cluster size, NTFS indexing disabled. (obviously you'll want more system RAM than the amount of RAM used for your RAM disk; also larger cluster sizes may be fine and could go faster but a larger cluster size can require a larger RAM disk since there are a lot of files with sizes in the single-digit kilobyte range) You'll also want 7-zip's working folder set to "Current". Simply copy the "Book.7z" archive into the RAM disk you created and then extract it via 7-zip to that very same RAM disk and, after a few minutes, it should be done. (Linux guru's may be able to figure out how to get away with having less system RAM but, for whatever reason, extraction seemed way slower extracting to a tmpfs)

Book.7zip seems irredeemably damaged no matter what I try to use to decompress it
