This release from Kagura is a complete mess...
To make it work somewhat playable firstly you need to create "------battlesetting------.js" in "js" folder.
Then you need to rename hevent1.ogg, hevent2.ogg, hevent3.ogg to Nevent1,2,3 in "bgm" folder.
Then rename $professor.png to $teacher.png in "characters" folder, or better copy the file and name it $teacher just in case.
And i don't even know if it's all the issues, but it may help someone.
@Rawmax This release is not a mess at all whatsoever, I never had to rename any files at all and it plays flawlessly without having to do anything, the issue is very likely on your end or something got corrupted when you downloaded it.
And I'll say it again this torrent has no missing files at all, check the file list, the so called missing file is listed as being there, the first file in fact. dafo446 was probably just trolling.
@Rawmax + others
Just as a reminder, saves are often not compatible between eng/intl and jp releases. Not sure if that's your issue, but it kinda sounds like it may be.
The save data is not the issue here at all, the save data is just the basic files as it has no actual progress saved to the two files in the save folder (located in www/save). If there was actual save data in the folder it would have 4 files or more and one would be named according to the save slot used (example: file1.rpgsave) and global.
I don't really understand what Rawmax issue is at all, the game plays perfectly fine without messing with any of the files and as I've said before it has no missing files and I don't understand why the uploader even believed it had missing files without actually checking to make sure it wasn't a troll giving out false information.
@Shaun
The thing is, I downloaded the game from another site, and it had allot of problems (Missing and misnamed files). I saw that dafo446 suffers from issues I had, and assumed that maybe there are other ones in this torrent. And in case there are I'll try to help. Well apparently there's none.
I can vouch there are no missing files in my end.
Which means, the issue came from your very own computer if you had them.
Can't actually say what causes it, but one of them would be your defender/AV blocking it. If not, maybe your OS couldn't read it.
Alright. So, for some reason, the torrent just doesn't download the battlesetting file above. Maybe it's utorrent, maybe it's the file name, or maybe that it's somehow 0kb. I don't think it's an antivirus thing, as my defender doesn't seem to be detecting it as the one from the workupload link is fine. It's just not being downloaded.
But as stated, the workupload link seems to work.
@toasterpeanut I use qBittorrent (way better than any other torrent client) and it had no issues downloading the 0 bytes file since the provided link to the "missing file" had me overwrite the file that was already there which means if anyone has it missing it is caused by their torrent client and not this torrent, I believe some torrent clients will ignore files with 0 bytes and that sounds exactly what utorrent did.
