Because I just kept the resolution the neural network outputted, and I’ve de-scaled the source to its original resolution 1440x810 beforehand.
Usually I’d like to do that when the source (and the result) is good enough, otherwise I’ll scale it to “standard” resolutions like 1280x720 or 1920x1080 afterwards.

NIce! I got my BD last week and I was surprised that the audio tracks are DTS-HDMA instead of the usual LPCM from Japan BDs and I was disappointed by the low video bitrate with noticeable blocking artifacts. Were there any methods used to address those artifacts? I’m assuming you did but I am interested in information pertaining to fixing stuff like that.
Anyways I’m excited to check out your encode!

@DamianV8501 Yours BDMV is less censored one? there are 2 different BDMV of this series as far I remember…I wanted to Buy this BDMV with the less censorship one…But I didn’t get to know which one has less censorship😢… for confirmation the “https://sukebei.nyaa.si/view/2588733” this one has less censorship. you can compare it to 00:00:39.083(FOR BDMV) time…

And if it’s Blocking artifacts then “fvsfunc.AutoDeblock(src)” or “havsfunc.Deblock_QED(src)” will do the job I guess. you have to know vapoursynth to use that stuffs…

@Furasshin Dang, I never realized there were two different versions for Complete Version. I know that there is the Volume 1 that I remember seeing on Doujin Republic. I checked and mine is indeed the more censored version. That one you linked me is the one that I originally watched when I first discovered the series. That’s a bummer, that was only only one I found to buy, I have no idea where to get the less censored BD or where to find a BDMV of it. Unless the less censored version is from the original Volume 1 spliced in, then I have no idea.

Someday I need to check out vapoursynth and similar software. I would like to figure that stuff out eventually.

I think you are right, because the rip Furasshin mentioned is less censored at the beginning and become more censored from certain point of time.
