I have this really annoying issue in Grisaia 1 where saves just don't work. When I load them, text doesn't display and the text won't advance. It later started happening every time I started a new game too and I had to delete my saves.

Hey @poudink, is it the The Fruit of Grisaia? You need to extract update03.int in the update03.rar. This should fix your issue because I didn't encounter any issue while playing the game. :) If the update03.rar is not in the folder, you can download the update03.int here: https://www71.zippyshare.com/v/8UhWYGhs/file.html

Ah, thanks, I'll try that. I also realized that deleting simply the "info.xml" file from the save folder whenever it got generated fixed my saves. EDIT: Turns out I already had update03.int. Guess I'll keep on deleting info.xml. Doesn't seem to have anything valuable besides my settings. It also doesn't seem to get generated if I force Grisaia to close (like by getting it to crash, using task manager or the taskkill command).

No problem, but you should replace the update03.int with the one in the rar file if you haven't done that already (even if the update03.int is already in the folder). Appreciate the workaround though :)

i have the steam version of grisaia trilogy and would like to be playing with it, but unfortunately the version it has is all ages one, and there isn't a restoration patch for it, so would it work if i replace the files from steam release with ones here? i have the idea of doing these bc i tried this method with maitetsu and it worked no prob. And i can hear you asking why won't i just download it and try this for myself but the thing is i don't have the steam version yet im just considering buying it and being a good sport for the devs but it's a no deal of course if i won't be able to play directly from steam

There was once a restoration patch, but they were taken down. And well, technically, it should work. That is one of the ways a patch works, considering that you know what you are doing. Just verify files integrity on steam if you did mess up :)
