Another quality release from your friends at the Cream Lemon Archival Project! It is our goal to preserve the original 1984 Cream Lemon series without interference from Japanese censorship. We are combining softsubbed translations from LamonAE, Japanese video sources, along with newly-uncovered and restored video sources from the United States and Brazil to create new softsubbed and uncensored MKV releases of as many of the original Cream Lemon episodes as we can get our hands on. Using our new digital restoration technique called “Erojuvination”, we are able to combine the luma layer of the Brazilian tape with the chroma layer of the Japanese LD. We have discontinued use of the Japanese DVDs for future releases due to heavy censorship and barely a difference in quality (to us). We have remastered episode 2 using this technique. While multiple shots needed to be altered using this technique in order to create a high quality uncensored presentation, we are proud to present this episode without shoddy VHS quality for the first time. Unfortunately, parts of subtitles that were burned into the VHS were unremovable, and in the interest of avoiding compromising the video with more masking, we left those portions of the subtitles intact.
