Alright, friends. Here's a new uncensored episode for once, presented by the Cream Lemon Archival Project! It is our goal to preserve the original 1984 Cream Lemon series without interference from Japanese censorship. We are combining softsubbed translations from LamonAE, Japanese video sources, along with newly-uncovered and restored video sources from the United States and Brazil to create new softsubbed and uncensored MKV releases of as many of the original Cream Lemon episodes as we can get our hands on. On August 8th, 2020, we were contacted by Marcelo, a Brazilian VHS collector who claimed to have an uncensored VHS tape of episodes 9: Happening Summer, and 11: Black Cat Mansion, off of a 1987 Everest Video do Brasil release called "Entre Duas Estacoes". We immediately pushed forward to get this material in our hands so that we could release these episodes uncensored for the first time with English subtitles. At first, Marcelo tried to digitize his tape with a DVD recorder, which turned out to be faulty. As a result, we had to wait an extra few days for his friend who owns a video store to digitize the tape to a DVD for him. Marcelo then sent us the digital rip and we used the material to present these new uncensored releases. Today's release is episode 9: Happening Summer, featuring a Kouji-kun, Keiko, Akira, and Yuki. Ooh, love triangles...better than any geometry class I've ever taken. A total of one shot: about five seconds long, had to be sourced from Brazilian footage, while the rest of the editing (5-10 shots, replaced DVD footage with LD footage). The next big release: episode 11, should come after elgringo finishes some work for LamonAE. Also, to add on to this, our other Brazilian source will be digitizing his uncensored Rall tape later this week, which should result in an upcoming uncensored release of episode 15!
