Welcome back everyone, to another CLAP release! Some exciting news...after this! It is our goal to preserve the original 1984 Cream Lemon series without interference from Japanese censorship. We are combining softsubbed translations from LamonAE, Japanese video sources, along with newly-uncovered and restored video sources from the United States and Brazil to create new softsubbed and uncensored MKV releases of as many of the original Cream Lemon episodes as we can get our hands on. Over the last month, we have been trying super hard to locate all of the uncensored Brazilian “Sonhos Molhados” tapes in Brazil. Unfortunately, our source in Brazil has been unable to locate all of the other tapes so far. However, just recently, a Brazilian collector was able to donate superior uncensored copies of episodes 1 and 5, which will be used in this and a future v2 release. Why is this v2 better than the original? First of all, this tape uses a new copy of the Sonhos Molhados tape of episodes 1 and 5. The only problem was that one or two shots had to use the original tape due to color instabilities during the NTSC->PAL-M conversion process. Regardless, this release is of higher quality than the original release of episode 5. With permission from elgringo, we also made some alterations to LamonAE's script for this release, with stricter QC standards. One example is the Hokuto no Ken reference 4 minutes and 20 seconds in. Here's the exciting news: we have located uncensored tapes of episodes 9, 11, and 15: Happening Summer, Black Cat Mansion, and Rall Part II, respectively, in Sao Paulo, Brazil. They have been purchased and should be available to us by the end of the week. Thanks to all the support we've received financially, we've been able to acquire these tapes, and hopefully more in the future. We hope to get the uncensored episodes out next week!
