I'm pretty sure that describes all of the comic piracy groups since Comixology and legal E-book stores for Manga became a thing. All those -Empire groups that release comic book cbzs and cbrs. You see most of the releases here? Those are worth hundreds of dollars. Maybe they'd contact you and merge you into the group for protection or anonymity like how it works with American comic groups. I don't how it works now. I stopped when my group mates all became trannies for unrelated reason.
