Welcome to the second ever upload of the Cream Lemon Archival Project! It is our goal to preserve the original 1984 Cream Lemon series without interference from Japanese censorship. We are combining softsubbed translations from LamonAE, Japanese video sources, along with newly-uncovered and restored video sources from the United States and Brazil to create new softsubbed and uncensored MKV releases of as many of the original Cream Lemon episodes as we can get our hands on. This release is another proof of concept of an uncensored Cream Lemon release that will be done later down the line. Thanks to an anonymous fan of the series, we were given access to a bootleg VHS tape of the uncensored version of episode 2 of Cream Lemon, so we could make a release before we get the Brazilian tape of it! For those not in the loop, 12 uncensored episodes of the original series (8 of which have never been seen online in uncensored form) have recently been uncovered in Brazil, and our Brazilian source is in the process of gathering all of them and getting them to us. Today’s presentation is episode 2: Escalation, featuring a bunch of sl--I mean, Rie, Naomi, and Midori. Over 50 shots had to be replaced in this one in order to remove Japanese censorship. This archival project is a work in progress. The final archival release of all 16 episodes will come after the Brazilian tapes are made available to us. For this project, an anonymous fan has given us access to R2 DVDs of episodes 1-10, LaserDisc rips of episodes 1-16, as well as random VHS rips of different episodes. Want to help with the project?
