I can’t get the text to display right in the game. Is it a font problem or do I need to set something?
It’s like gibberish.

Nearly all Heiatei games require Locale Emulator with Fake UI language option enabled in order to work in non-Japanese Windows because Tinkerbell’s engine used by Heiantei is pure garbage.

The thing is I am using Locale Emulator set to Japanese and it still shows gibberish. My windows region and locale is also set to Japan. All Win10 settings are set to Japan and it still shows gibberish inside the game. I kinda remember I had the same problem with one of the other games I played a while back but I can’t remember for the life of me how I got it to work.
EDIT:
You were right. So even though I was using Locale Emulator I had to specifically set “Fake system UI language” even though my system UI is set to Japanese… Weird…

Just to let everyone know, the game requires for you to open it with Locale Emulator, then click on modify profile of app, enabled the Fake UI language option, then open the game with Locale Emulator, then the hook for textractor or VNTranslator is any of these two:
/HS-C@24C5:toaru.exe
/HA-4@7050A.toaru.exe
For me the first one worked while the other one didnt.
