Though I agree the watermark is totally unnecessary, I don't find it cancerous, since I only see it in the title page.

I'm wanting to read it in Japanese, is it possible to remove the English patch? Like.. is there a single file that if I delete it, the game would run in Japanese?

No there isn’t. It’s in the script files themselves. You would have to replace half the game.
