Original ssss.exe was protected with SoftDenchi. ssss.exe included in this torrent is the recovered original exe, removing SoftDenchi entirely. SoftDenchi also encrypted data.xp3, this is the decrypted version.
data.xp3 appears to be a newer revision of the scripts contained in ssss.exe, it fixes one typo and changes default BGM volume from 50% to 70%.

If you want to upgrade your official version to this DRM-free one:

1. Install from “SSSS Installer.exe” or extract the following files from it using 7-Zip while keeping the paths as they are:
   gamedata.xp3
   plugin/extrans.dll
   plugin/krmovie.dll
   plugin/wuvorbis.dll

The rest of the files are either part of installer, DRM, are encrypted or are unneeded for running the unmolested game.

2. Copy/move ssss.exe and data.xp3 from this torrent into the same folder you extracted or installed the game.

3. Play the game by running ssss.exe.

4. Enjoy!
