There are playback samples on 3840x2160 with madVR(NGU).

Hi, thx for sharing. Once again, I prefer this version. I tried the HEVC version of the 1st episode & it's impossible to launch. My configuration must be too weak... Perhaps, what are you like configuration PC (video card, RAM) to remaster? How long does it take you? :)
NVIDIA's video card is most important if you want to remaster by waifu2x.
It's not work (or very very slow) on AMD's because waifu2x is optimized by CUDNN.
It's about 8 fps that waifu2x 704x480 > 1408x960 on my GTX1070. ( only filter processing without encoding by x264/x265)
Waifu2x is performance bottlenecks in my PC. Maybe you can wait for next-gen NVIDIA's cards.
CPU is as high as possible. Encoding (x264/x265) needs it.
Speed of encoding depend on parameters for x264/x265.
On my 1950X, this is about 26fps by x264 with crf 19.
RAM is need 16GB or more if you only up-sampling to FHD.
For 4K, It's should be more than 32GB. There is 32GB in my PC but It's still out of memory when processing and encoding 4K sometimes.
For 4x (704x480 > 2816x1920), it spends 4 times time (or 1/4 fps) than 2x(1408x960).
